Meet Kim Lukens

Kim Lukens portrait

Kim Lukens’ story begins close to home — in family, neighborhoods, schools, and the everyday work of serving others.

Growing up, Kim was immersed in the responsibilities of a family business focused on preserving dignity and a high quality of life for people in long-term healthcare and group-home environments. That work was supported through private-pay services and the State of Ohio.

From the late 1980s into the early 2000s, Kim was involved with the beginnings of Neace Lukens Insurance in Cincinnati, Ohio, gaining experience in the long-term healthcare market alongside her family’s established work in long-term care.

Kim has also been involved with several nonprofit and service organizations, including Our Lady of America Farms, Damascus, and Christi’s Pure Fashions.

In Warren County, Kim operated a private counseling practice called Regeneration of Mind and Heart for about four years. She has managed large-scale agriculture operations as well, including overseeing 400 grass-fed beef cattle in Warren County and Indiana.

Kim has served in a variety of community and ministry roles — including as a hospital chaplain, at the Montgomery County Court Detention Center in Dayton, and through local outreach efforts such as Meals on Wheels in Warren County and Our Daily Bread in Cincinnati.

Kim was raised on the northeastern outskirts of Cincinnati and moved to Warren County in 1993. She continues to be a full-time resident of Warren County in 2026.
